h. One (1) FW 190 dest
i. I was flying Escort Red Ldr when we sighted approx 75 to 100 FW 190s at 34,000’. The E/A were driving into the tgt to attack the bombers. We were at 29,000’ so we climbed up to engage the E/A. We turned into the E/A and they turned into us, at about 32,000’. One of the E/A broke right and I followed him. He appeared to be an old hand and did everything possible to evade. I fought with him for about 15 mins, during which time he snapped spun, half-rolled and did a few more fancy maneuvers. I did a good deal of shooting at all angles. When he at last spun and broke he was just right for a K-14 sight. I let go, he caught fire and dove straight in from 21,000’ Lt Horman can confirm this victory.
I claim One (1) FW 190 dest.
